The Emperor Penguin

The Emperor Penguin is 4 feet  tall and weighs 20 to 49 kg.  The Emperor Penguin is black, white, orange. 
 
The Emperor Penguin  lives in colonies  on packed ice in Antarctica. It is kept warm in harsh environments  by thin  layers of blubber and insulating down. 
 
Emperor Penguin's  diet is meat like squid.
 
The first  stage in  it's  is life cycle is   an egg and  then a chick finally adult.  They can live up to 15 to 20 years.
 
Penguins can't fly.  They only live in seas. Leopard seals eat penguins that are small. The penguins can swim under water for 18 minute and swim 16 miles per hour. Penguins have special skin  to keep the egg warm. The chick  stands at the  end  by the feet of the adult to keep it warm. For up  to 9 weeks the male warms the egg. Males huddle for warmth.  A  half grown baby also huddle in what is  called a creches. The father can't eat for up to 4 months.
