Cheetah

The cheetah is a mammal that has a 10 year life span. It's color is a rich, tawny brown with dark spots.   The cheetah has long tear-drop shaped lines on both sides of the nose.  The adult male cheetahs are up to 7 feet and weighing up to 100 pounds ( 2.15m ). Cubs have a dark long tail. 

 

The cheetah's habitat is in Africa and south- western Asia in temperate grasslands. 

 

The cheetah is a meat-eater. It eats animals like impalas, gazelles, rabbits, birds and other small animals.

 

The cheetah's life cycle is embryo for the first stage the second stage is baby cheetah the forth stage is young animal then the last stage is adult. 

 

 The cheetah is the fastest animal on land.  Did you know cubs are also born blind? Cheetahs also live in zoos.
